Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the services provided by Permit Bestie LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing permitbestie.com or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Permit Bestie LLC provides permit expediting and filing services, including preparation and submission of permit applications, follow-up with permitting authorities, and advisory services related to permitting timelines. Permit Bestie LLC is not a licensed contractor, architect, or legal counsel.

2. Engagement

Services begin upon written confirmation of scope and fees. By engaging us, you confirm that you have authority to authorize the requested services, that all information you provide is accurate, and that you will cooperate in a timely manner.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Service fees are outlined in your project agreement or quote
  • Permit fees and governmental filing fees are the Client's responsibility and are separate from our service fees
  • Refunds are not provided once work has commenced, except as required by law
  • Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide complete and accurate documentation in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information
  • Pay all applicable governmental and third-party fees
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your project scope

5. SMS / Text Message Communications

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Permit Bestie LLC related to your project, including status updates and appointment reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. We do not share your opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Timelines and Delays

Permit Bestie LLC will make commercially reasonable efforts to expedite your applications. However, permitting timelines are controlled by governmental agencies. We are not responsible for delays caused by government backlogs, incomplete information from the Client, project scope changes, or events beyond our control.

7. No Guarantee of Permit Approval

Permit Bestie LLC does not guarantee the approval of any permit application. Approval decisions rest solely with the relevant governmental authority.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Permit Bestie LLC's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Collin County, Texas.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
